1. Who We Are
Kalendo is operated by True Mom Story Corp, based in Florida, United States. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.
2. Information We Collect
When you use Kalendo, we collect: (a) Account information: your name and email address provided through Google OAuth; (b) Calendar content: images, PDFs, screenshots, or spreadsheets you upload, which are processed by AI to extract events; (c) Usage data: basic information about how you use the Service, such as events created and calendars synced.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; process your calendar documents with AI to extract events; sync events to your Google Calendar with your explicit permission; send you transactional emails (such as a welcome message when you create your account) and occasional service-related emails (such as reminders to use the Service); and analyze usage to improve the product. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
4. AI Processing (Google Gemini)
Documents you upload are sent to Google Gemini AI solely to extract calendar events. We do not store your original uploaded files permanently — they are processed and discarded. Extracted events are stored in our database (Supabase) to power the Service. We do not use your calendar content to train AI models or for any purpose other than extracting events for you.
5. Google OAuth & Google Calendar
We use Google OAuth for authentication. We request access to your Google Calendar only when you choose to sync events. We access your Google Calendar exclusively to add the events you approved — we do not read, analyze, or share your existing calendar data for any other purpose. We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) Google: for authentication and calendar sync; (b) Supabase: our database provider; (c) Google Gemini AI: for calendar document processing; (d) Resend: our email delivery provider, used to send transactional and service-related emails. All third parties are bound by appropriate data protection agreements. We do not track users across third-party websites, and we do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals because we do not engage in cross-site tracking.
7. Children's Privacy
Kalendo is designed for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users may upload documents (such as school calendars) that reference their children's school schedules. This information is used solely to extract and sync calendar events for the parent or guardian and is not used to profile, target, or market to children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at legal@kalendo.co and we will delete it promptly.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data and extracted events for as long as your account is active. Uploaded files are not stored permanently. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting legal@kalendo.co. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
9. Security & Breach Notification
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Google OAuth, and row-level security in our database. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 30 days via the email address associated with your account. No system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data based on the following legal grounds: (a) Contract: processing is necessary to provide the Service you requested; (b) Consent: you have given consent via Google OAuth sign-in and acceptance of these terms; (c) Legitimate Interests: to send service-related communications and improve the Service. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"); receive a copy of your data in a portable format; withdraw consent for data processing; lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (for EEA residents). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@kalendo.co. We will respond within 30 days.
12. California Privacy Rights (CalOPPA & CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it is used; request deletion of your personal information; opt out of the sale of your personal information (note: we do not sell personal information). To submit a request, contact legal@kalendo.co. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your California privacy rights.
13. Email Communications
By creating an account, you may receive transactional emails (such as your welcome message) and occasional service-related emails (such as reminders to use the Service). You may opt out of non-transactional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any such email or by replying with "unsubscribe." We will process opt-out requests within 10 business days.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the Service or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

2. Información que Recopilamos
Cuando usas Kalendo, recopilamos: (a) Información de cuenta: tu nombre y correo electrónico a través de Google OAuth; (b) Contenido de calendarios: imágenes, PDFs, capturas de pantalla o hojas de cálculo que subes, procesados por IA para extraer eventos; (c) Datos de uso: información básica sobre cómo usas el Servicio.
3. Cómo Usamos tu Información
Usamos tu información para: proveer y mejorar el Servicio; procesar tus documentos con IA para extraer eventos; sincronizar eventos con tu Google Calendar con tu permiso explícito; enviarte emails transaccionales y ocasionales relacionados con el Servicio; y analizar el uso para mejorar el producto. No usamos tus datos para publicidad ni los vendemos a terceros.
4. Procesamiento con IA (Google Gemini)
Los documentos que subes se envían a Google Gemini AI únicamente para extraer eventos de calendario. No almacenamos tus archivos originales de forma permanente. Los eventos extraídos se guardan en nuestra base de datos (Supabase). No usamos tu contenido para entrenar modelos de IA ni para ningún otro propósito.
5. Google OAuth y Google Calendar
Usamos Google OAuth para autenticación. Solicitamos acceso a tu Google Calendar solo cuando eliges sincronizar eventos. Accedemos a tu calendario exclusivamente para agregar los eventos que aprobaste. Cumplimos con la Política de Datos de Usuario de Google API Services, incluyendo los requisitos de Uso Limitado.
6. Compartir Datos
No vendemos tus datos personales. Compartimos datos solo con: (a) Google: para autenticación y sincronización; (b) Supabase: nuestro proveedor de base de datos; (c) Google Gemini AI: para procesar documentos; (d) Resend: nuestro proveedor de email. No rastreamos usuarios en sitios de terceros ni respondemos a señales Do Not Track (DNT).
7. Privacidad de Menores
Kalendo está diseñado para adultos (18+) y no está dirigido a menores. No recopilamos intencionalmente información personal de menores de 13 años. Los usuarios pueden subir documentos que hagan referencia a los horarios escolares de sus hijos, información que se usa únicamente para extraer y sincronizar eventos para el padre o tutor. Si crees que hemos recopilado información de un menor de 13 años, contáctanos de inmediato a legal@kalendo.co.
8. Retención de Datos
Conservamos tus datos mientras tu cuenta esté activa. Los archivos subidos no se almacenan permanentemente. Puedes solicitar la eliminación de tu cuenta y todos tus datos en cualquier momento escribiendo a legal@kalendo.co. Procesaremos las solicitudes de eliminación en un plazo de 30 días.
9. Seguridad y Notificación de Brechas
Implementamos medidas de seguridad estándar: HTTPS, autenticación segura y seguridad a nivel de fila en nuestra base de datos. En caso de una brecha de datos que afecte tu información personal, te notificaremos dentro de los 30 días siguientes por correo electrónico.
10. Base Legal para el Procesamiento (RGPD)
Si te encuentras en el Espacio Económico Europeo (EEE), procesamos tus datos con base en: (a) Contrato: necesario para proveer el Servicio; (b) Consentimiento: otorgado al iniciar sesión con Google OAuth; (c) Interés legítimo: para comunicaciones del Servicio y mejoras. Puedes retirar tu consentimiento en cualquier momento eliminando tu cuenta.
11. Tus Derechos
Dependiendo de tu ubicación, puedes tener derecho a: acceder a tus datos; solicitar corrección o eliminación; recibir una copia portable de tus datos; retirar tu consentimiento; presentar una queja ante una autoridad de protección de datos. Escríbenos a legal@kalendo.co. Responderemos en 30 días.
12. Derechos de Privacidad en California
Si eres residente de California, tienes derecho a: saber qué información personal recopilamos; solicitar la eliminación de tu información; optar por no participar en la venta de tu información (nota: no vendemos información personal). Contáctanos en legal@kalendo.co.
13. Comunicaciones por Email
Al crear una cuenta, puedes recibir emails transaccionales y ocasionales relacionados con el Servicio. Puedes cancelar la suscripción a emails no transaccionales en cualquier momento haciendo clic en el enlace de cancelación o respondiendo "unsubscribe". Procesaremos las solicitudes en 10 días hábiles.
14. Cambios a esta Política
Podemos actualizar esta Política periódicamente. Te notificaremos de cambios significativos a través del Servicio o por email.
